The fun this knife delivers is worth more than the $30 you will pay for it. Even better is the "Lightnining" double action out the front knife is pretty squared away for multiple roles actually. Fondling knife, gift item, EDCr, and even tactical POUs could be tackled (discussed). Now don't expect premium steel here; it ain't. Probably an 8Cr formulation or even 420 SS. But in my cutting tests it performed well and when I slapped it on to the Edge Pro Apex sharpener, a fine edge resulted (can't vouch for how low it will last however). Stabbing tests into cardboard showed no weakness in the OTF mechanism. The zinc handle is painted and you can expect that paint to chip and peel off with use, just makes it cooler looking if you ask me. Speed and reliability in 2 months of testing were outstanding. Actuation is fast and smooth and the deployment button functions as a thumbramp on top. Value is smokin'. Buy it at the link below for even better value. . Book of Eli Sword a.k.a. Book of Eli Machete

The Book of Eli Sword also known as the Book of Eli Machete was seen in the 2009 movie The Book of Eli starring Denzel Washington. This gritty movie takes place in a post apocalyptic America. Eli, (Denzel Washington) is that of a drifter who has been wandering west for some thirty years reading a unique book that he brings with him.

He manages to survive by hunting small animals and  and collecting useful items from destroyed houses that he can use to trade for water and supplies  he may need in villages he passes through on his journey. Along the way he must protect himself and slices and dices his way with his Book of Eli Sword aka Book of Eli Machete.

Eventually he finds a village ruled by a sinister mobster Carnegie, (Gary Oldman) who gives Eli an offer to join his gang and become one of his main henchman. Eli respectfully refuses so  Carnegie presses his blind lover Claudia to send her daughter Solara to convince Eli by spending the night with him. Solara then sees the Book of Eli which is actually a Bible and that of which Carnegie has been searching for at all costs. When Carnegie beats up  on Claudia, Solara  reveals that Eli has the ever so sought after book. Carnegie sends his men after Eli to take the book but Eli has other plans. He again uses his trusty Book of Eli Sword to defend himself and continue west.

The Book of Eli is a very dark, gritty and violent movie but very entertaining with a lot of religious overtones in it. When I saw it at the theater several people actually walked out of the movie but I was thoroughly entertained. Many people are probably curious if the Book of Eli Sword exists.  To my knowledge there is no offical reproduction but there are several on the market that look just like the Book of Eli Sword.
